You know how I keep telling you how glad I am to be a cat? Well, I felt like that all weekend, watching my Mom do her imitation of the Energizer Bunny.
Why?
Here's a little bit of what Mom did this weekend... She made some of those little skinny bags like I showed you the other day (and she bought some treats to put inside.) She made some crazy letters for a quilt she is calling "Daft Zebras." Don't know what that means? Join the club, I don't either.
She did ALL the dirty dishes, she did what she calls "The Washing Machine Shuffle," and she -finally- folded the ever growing pile of laundry that has been on the couch for the last three weeks. She actually started singing when she was finished cleaning the human litterbox room (You don't want to know.) She dragged the rug sucking monster ALL over the house, and she washed the floors. The big table in the table room isn't covered with stuff any more.
Not only that... she did errands. She got the battery replaced in her watch, bought a new cable so she could connect her iPod to the big radio; she bought me enough stinky goodness for about seven thousand five hundred sixty-eight sleeps, she put gas in the metal masheen, and she went food hunting. She even watched some tennis!
Now the house is clean. The floors are slippery, and I have a clear path to the kitchen window. It's a good thing she's going day hunting this week, it's been exhausting watching her.
I need several naps to recuperate.

Wow! Did you sneak something in her breakfast?
C'mon Millie - only a few days ago you were telling your Mom that she had to clean the house up. Now she's done it and you're complaining again. It seems to me as though your Mom never wins, no matter what she does - although I think 7,568 days worth of stinky goodness sounds pretty good.

We think your mum may be broken! Ours does this from time to time, but we find making a huge mess in the house just after it has been tidied resets her.
Megan, I'm not complaining! I'm simply making observations here!
Point taken Millie, although your concluding comments to the effect that watching her had been exhausting for you and you needed several naps to recuperate did sound a touch critical. LOL

Our Mommy wants to know if your Mom will visit. Something about farming out chores...energy...time off...you know how they ramble!
I'm tired just listening to all that she did! Yes, how wonderful to be a cat. We don't even have to clean our liter boxes!
Oh my goodness!! We are tired just reading what your Mom did!! We are ready for naps now!! Have a wonderful Monday Millie & Mom!!
Howdy from your TX furiends,
Yes Millie, you better rest up from all the excitement!
Oh, Millie, we feel sorry for you. No kitty should have to watch so much activity in one weekend. It must have interfered with our naps too. Your mom owes you a special treat for abusing you so badly this weekend. Get plenty of rest to make up for what you missed.
Wow Millie!
A tough weekend of snoopervisory duties at your house!
Mom's get all happy when they accomplish alot though.......maybe you could let us in on the bathroom singing some day........
Wow it sounds like it was a very busy and productive weekend for your Mom! Our mom had planned to do that but that didn't work out. It is good that she got so much accomplished, but she must be glad to be back to dayhunting so she can relax a bit!!
