Yesterday, Mom didn't do -ANY- sewing at all. She cooked. It smelled AWESOME at my house! This is a pot of tomato sauce with meatballs and pork spare ribs. Mom says beans eat it with spaghetti.
This is three loaves of Mom's super duper bread. (Recipe & how-to here.) The bread smelled great! Mom says it is so good it doesn't need any butter. She says her fambly fights over this bread. Go figure.
And this is a batch of what Mom calls "chocolate chip cookies for adults." This batch has milk chocolate, dried apricots and sliced almonds. Mom put some cinnamon in these.
Then, afterwards, Mom and I sat together in the recliner. I got scritches while Mom cruised the quilt blogs.
It was a great day!
.... Hey, I didn't eat any of that stuff. I said it SMELLED great, I didn't say I ATE any of it. I had my usual stinky goodness.

A fabulous end to a fabulous day. Great to spend quality time with your Mom, Millie. Perhaps you could ask her to cook up some extra special stinky goodness for you some time?

Mum says she bets your house smells deliscious. I am like you, I don't like the human food.
That is a super picture of you Miss M. I am glad you and your mum got some time to relax.
Can we come for dinner? Glad you and mom got to relax together.
