Mom is -seriously- bummed out. She took two week's stay-cation from her day hunting gig so she could watch the Tennis on TV. Which she has done, every single day. Except yesterday.
Yesterday it rained in the Big Apple, and all the matches were postponed. The Men's Final, with the expected showdown between Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, has been postponed until Monday at 4. Mom gets home from day hunting at 5:30.
What do you think her chances are of getting out early so she can get home in time to watch the match on the picture box after she has been away for two weeks?
Slim to None.
You can see how much it's bothering me.

Our dad has a 2 weeks stay-cation at the moment and we're fed up of having to watch the Sports News Channel. We would much prefer Animal Planet or the children's channels at a push. You have our sympathy!
Paws crossed Millie - perhaps it will be a loooooong match, still in progress when Mom gets home. At least that way she'd get to see the last set or so.
And you're right - there's absolutely nothing to be gained by getting agitated - won't make any difference to the schedule or the weather. May as well just snooze.

Poor mama. You could show a little more sympathy for her you know.

You have our sympathy Millie. Our Mom is also totally bummed about the tennis schedule. We are hoping that this means we will get more scritches and there will be less yelling for Fed.
What a drag!!!
WE are with you! even though our Mom does not watch it!
Sounds like DVR time. Bob and Monika used to DVR everything and just watch it all on the weekend. Had to drop it though because it cost too much with Bob only working part time.
*pout*
I think your Mom just needs to have an attack of the vapors around 2:30 Monday afternoon. Then she will have to come home to lie down.
Can she record it and watch when she gets home?
Oh, no!!
Bummer about the tennis final...but you look comfy and that's what's important.
Purrs for your Mom.
We,on the other hand, like what you are doing ;) heehee
