Mom's been sewing. I've been snoopervising. Last week I showed you four houses. Here are the others she has made since. You can click them to biggify.
Mom's having brain cramps trying to figure out what colors to use for the Ginger Cat that won the Gizzy Quilt Raffle. Rusty likes to sleep on a cranberry red chair and on the blue and green bedspread on his mom's bed. Ginger Cats... Your ideas are most welcome! Please leave them in the comments.
thanks!

WE aren't ginger, but use the colors he likes. We like the house blocks!
Billy has a snuggle that is red and gold and green and blue. he says that if he efur saves enough green papers for his own gizzy, he would ask for those colors 'acuse they set off his furs very well. Maybe Rusty would like those? (our the mom calls them Jewel Tones).
You know we like the houses :)! Mom's working on a "little pink houses" quilt for us. She thought this was an original idea until she found someone on Flickr that had done it too!
Re quilt color, Dobby (our ginger) looks good on just about everything, but recently he's been sleeping on a medium chocolate brown fleece blanket that we have and he looks spectacular. He also looks good on greens - you can see a photo of him on a mostly green quilt here:

We think a chocolate brown quilt with lots of accents of the other colors you mentioned would be great.
your houses are so sweet! i love them! i think the greens would be nice with a ginger kitty, but mishkat has a good idea with the chocolate brown too.

:o)
Good job with the snoopervising! It certainly can be a full time job!
We think gingers look fabulous against blue backgrounds. We suggest blue as a main color with red and green accents.
Millie, your mom did a great job on those houses - you are a great snooperviser!
well, to go with the favorite spots, cranberry, green, blue and ginger!
Well if it would help to see a photo of Rusty the Wonder Cat, he is on my poorly attended to blog.
www.caitty1.blogspot.com. Just scroll down a bit. We are going to love anything you make!
P.S. Amending my previous comment to say that we just got a new boogie mat that has colors of azure and periwinkle (mid-value blue shades) with yellow accents and Dobby looks fabulous on it!
Millie, darlin', there are NO cats in those first 5 houses-they look lonely without cats in the windows or sitting in front of the door-don't you think?
