As you know, we got a new couch. Mom says it is a sleeper couch. That seems pretty ridiculous to me. Any couch is a sleeper couch, as far as I am concerned.
You are probably wondering where the old foo-ton went.
Yesterday, when Mr Big and Mr Karate, Pip-pay, PlusOne and Mr Karate's girlfriend got here, Mr Big asked, "What are you going to do with the foo-ton?"
La Girlfriend asked, "Have you ever heard of Freecycle?"
Mr Karate said, "We don't need Freecycle, we will just put it out on the sidewalk, and somebody will pick it up."
Mom said, "It will be gone before dinnertime. It's a nice day, it probably won't even take that long."
La Girlfriend was skeptical.
So Mr Big and Mr Karate took it apart and set it up on the sidewalk outside. PlusOne was more than happy to sit out there holding a big sign that read "FREE", so everybody driving by could see.
(Have I told you we live on a very busy street?)
Before the guys could even get the new couch in the house, a car had pulled up outside.
"Is that really for free," the driver asked?
Five minutes later, the old foo-ton was gone.

That is cool. Mom's daughter lives in a neighborhood like that. Just set it out and someone will take it!
Wow, we can't believe how quick your couch went. We hope that someone gets good use out of it.
Enjoy your new spiffy one.
Mum is looking for a new couch too.
We hopes everyone enjoys their couches. ~S,S,C & F
Glad no one was confused and thought PlusOne was free! Enjoy your new couch, Millie. You look very nice on it.
That's how MomBean cleaned out the garage!
(Our new couch is here too, only I have to wear the stupid nail covers now.)
That happens to us ALL the time. People even pick things up that we've thrown out because, uh, we, uh, have christened it many, many, many times, (if you know what I mean.)
WE giggle to think how fast they too will throw it out!
Well for heaven's sake Millie, didn't they ever think maybe YOU might want it for when you entertain your friends?!
Thats how folks do it around here too.
We don't even live on a bizzy street and dat happens here...we'z glad dey din't think Plus One was what was free!
We hope there were no kitty toys buried unner the cushions... That would be a tragik loss.
Or mebbe a reason fer new kitty toys.
That happens to us all the time (we have special days to set out large "trash", but it's usually gone before the town truck shows up!) Someone actually took our old futon mattress once - and it's NOT anything anyone would have really wanted - I'm still puzzled about that!
P.S. We are very sorry we missed your raffle!
We do that here too. Someone else's trash is someone's treasure.
