Flying Millie!

Lookit me! I'm flying in an airplane!

Airplanes are noisy and crowded! I didn't have a seat all to myself, and the windows are tiny. I think I liked the train better.
I like the hotel, though. This bed is really nice and comfy. Here I am getting ready to watch the Olympics.

Tomorrow I get to visit my sweetie Monty Q. He's really blue because his Sprout is gone. I can't cheer him up, but I hope I can help him get through this difficult time.

Mom and I want EVERYBODY to know about Kikkycat, and how she met us at the airport in Baltimore yesterday, and drove us 2 hours through terrible thunder and rainstorms to our hotel. She even made Mom an awesome lunch. She refused green papers for gas, saying she just wanted to help Sprout's family. Kikkycat hasn't got a blog, but she ROCKS!

So Mom and I are here, courtesy of the wonderful folks of the Cat Blogosphere, and the woofies, buns, and lurkers who all helped out with green papers for this visit. Monty's MomBean is very very happy Mom is here in Mary-land. Mom's happy too.

We just wish everything was different.

So glad you could make the trip. True, it's under sad circumstances, but what a blessing you could be there with Sprout's family.

I just realized that the little sweetie you were making the quilt for is with the Lord. Many years ago I lost a little one too. How hard it is for everyone. I know your presence with Violette's family will be remembered more than any words that are spoken.
Thinking of you and Violette.
