Snowy Sewing Saturday

It is snowing. Again! Mom isn't planning on going -anywhere- today. You can find out more about the snow over at Roxy's.

Mom sewed up that block we showed you yesterday, then did this big one. Now she has her three big blocks finished. Lined up next to each other, they look like this:

You can click the pictures to biggify.

Because she knew she wouldn't be going out today, she went food hunting after work, and then went out and came back with some DVD's about some guy named Bourne. She says she's all set for a nice cozy weekend. She says she can't wait for Monday, because it is supposed to be 47 degrees and rainy.

Huh?

Rain and warm temperatures melt the snow, Millie.

We can't wait to see the finished quilt. Mom is weird because she loves the rain. She says we don't get nearly enough here.

Those blocks look great together - it's gonna be a great quilt. Athough we're never seen snow, we think that rain sounds much better. A temperature of 47 degrees has got to be an improvement for you guys too - whatever happens, remember to snuggle - no matter what, snuggling is always good.

Bob loves the Bourne movies. He also loves the books, but he said that the two have little to do with each other. There was also a Bourne movie made in the 80's with Richard Chamberlin as Bourne and Jaclyn Smith playing Marie. He hasn't seen it yet, but he said it is supposed to follow the book much more closely.

People wants your catmom to know she really appreciates the encouragement. Hunting is harder for peoples, I think.
And the quilt is beautiful!

Ooo ... That quilt would look furry pretty on the bed that I share with Mom. It's a good thing that I used Mom's PayPal account to buy some tickets.

That quilt is certainly looking beautiful! I hope that the rain melts some of your snow - ours is almost gone and it might get up to 70 degrees on Sunday! I'll be in the sun in my porch!
