Mooooooooooving

Mr Karate moved from his place in this town to another place in that town twenty miles away. He did this on Saturday. He knew he was doing this on that day for a whole month.

So when do you think he asked Mom if she could help him clean out the old place?

At 9:30 PM on Saturday night.

And she went.

Came back about midnight with a car full of his stuff, and he came right behind her with his car full of the last stuff. He asked if he could sleep on the couch, because he was too tired to drive down to that town and that place and unpack his stuff. She said yes.

Now, on the surface, this is not a big deal. Unless you are Jasmine and YOU usually sleep on the couch. So Jasmine did the next best thing. SHE slept on Mom's bed, on the other side of Mom from Gizzy. Which meant MOM had a hard time sleeping, being pinned in place by two big cats.

As for ME, well, I wasn't gonna sleep in the same room with this big guy. So I roamed around. But I couldn't go sleep on the big comfy chair in Mom's room because Jasmine was on guard.

The next morning, Mom got up and made breakfast for Mr Karate, and then they each got in their cars (named Juliette and Astro. I will leave you to guess whose is whose) and drove down to that town and unpacked Mr Karate's stuff and then Mom drove home.

Three guesses as to who went to bed really early last night?

-- Well it wasn't me.

Your poor mom! That was really nice of her to help Mr Karate out, but I guess that's what moms are for!

I hope you found a good place to sleep.

Aww, that's what Moms do, Millie. Did you find a good nap spot?

Oh, can you ask your Mom what type of fleece she uses for the BizzyGizzy quitlz? Thank you!

Moving is exhausting. I hope your mommie is up and perky today.. probably a bit "stiff" too.
Ibuprofen helps with that...

I hope you have a groovy day

I mean this in the nicest way, but I must say "typical man!" Your Mommie was very nice to help Mr. Karate even at the last minute.

Our boy who is 22 does that last minute stuff too. Drives dad crazy, but mom just sighs & rolls her eyes. They are hoping he grows out of it.

It was Mom who went to bed early. I know what it feels like having cats pin you in when you are trying to sleep. That's why I ask them kindly to remove themselves and I shut the door and I sleep really good. Sometimes I let Casper sleep with me because he doesn't bother me and he doesn't sleep right next to me, just when it's real cold he does. But then he likes to sleep with Patches in the chair by the wood stove in the winter. But it was really nice of your Mom to help Mr. Karate out.
