National Wear Red Day 2007
This year, more women will die of heart disease than men. So I am taking a break from Friday's usual memes to alert all women to protect their hearts. National Wear Red Day is a simple way to support the fight against heart disease and stroke.
This is a cause quite literally close to Mom's heart (pun most emphatically intended) because her Mom has heart disease.
So ladies, gentlemen, cats, wear RED today. National Wear Red Day has its own dress code. Wear your favorite red clothes or accessory—a red blouse, a red dress pin, a fabulous red handbag —put on red lipstick, or sport a red tie and red socks. Go red in your own fashion to show your support for women and the fight against heart disease.
Thank you.

That is a great reminder about a very good cause. My Mommie is wearin' a red shirt today.
Also, some of the advances in heart disease have helped us cats. My sister Pixie just started on Plavix, which is a drug for beans which they have recently found to be effective in cats (but DON'T take it unless yer VET tells you to).
Meowm says she will have to at least get a red.....oh she just remembered she has a red bandana that she can roll up and wear in her hair! Now she just has to be me something red.
We're doin red today, too. Such an important cause. I mean, if our beans let their hearts go bad, who will feed us?
I red yore post. Does that count? Mommy wored red sox tho. Not the baseyball guys, the feets sox.
I always have my red collar on. Mum wore red today too.
