Red Balls

The Lady has a big bag of little red balls. They are tiny. They bounce. She spears them with a thin piece of silver and puts them on a long string. Then she has been hanging them in different places around the house. The little balls are fun. They are just the right size to play with.

She's bringing up stuff from the cave downstairs.... (oh, Gizzy says it's the basement...) like this guy next to me. I've checked him out and he's ok. Weird stuff is going on around here. I got my Secret Paws assignment last night, and I'm working on a plan... but it's a secret!

There's lots of stuff gonna come out for you to inspect this time of year Millie. But try not to chew or eat any of it!

Ask Gizzy to tell you about that guy. He's Santa, and he brings presents to good kitties. Yes, it's true!

I need to sit down with Misty and tell her to start being good.

Love,
Tipper

Milly, your Lady is makin' mine go *sigh* a lot. She's not nearly as clever as yours and isn't as good at making fancy things as yours. She does make a great lap though. And that is what I really like.

Beezer,

Don't let your mom feel bad. My Lady is an artist. She says there are plenty of things she doesn't do very well. Like clean the house, balance the checkbook (whatever that is)or sing or play a musical instrument.

It will probably get a lot more weird during the next couple of weeks but you like a kitty that can make the best of it! -- Alberta, Sky, Blackie, Charlie and Maggie Fu

I think that guy's called Santa - my mom's got one that, when you wind him up, moves all around going "Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas!" ???

But those balls look cool!

Our Santa has a little crank at the back and when wound it tingles a little tune. But Santa himself doesn't move.

our mommy has not started dekorating yet. she says maybe and maybe not - she's not allowed to carry boxes 'acause of her oper-way-shun, and since daddy werks a long way away, there's no one to carry them up.

Heehee! Millie, my Opposable Thumb Wench is the same. She can make all kinds of pretty stuff, and she can even cook and decorate the house, but she's always forgetting to clean it, or wash the dishes, and she says the money is the Big One's problem, not hers. She says so long as she doesn't lose her 'lectricity, her innernets, and there's always cat food, she's good, and she'll try to remember to dust occasionally.

My OTW wants me to ask if she's allowed to ask your Lady what kind of art she does?

One-eyed Jack! Our ladies must be related! Mine feels the same way! She says if she has gas in the car (?), internet access and 'lectricity, food in the fridge (like Milk, parmesan cheese, garlic and lemons) she's happy.

The Lady draws and paints in oil. She usta teach both. I'll see if we can show you some in the next coupla days. And she sews and makes quilts and all kindsa stuff. She makes quilted chessboards that cover the wall in the picture box room, she makes pillows and she paints furniture. She made a lotta Christmas ornaments I haven't seen yet. If you look through the blog, you can see the stuff she does.

And she cooks too. It always smells good in here.
