It is supposed to be sunny and in the mid 60's today. That's snow melting weather for sure. There are still big piles of snow in places (like under our kitchen window for one) but will Mom see any snow when the sun comes out later?
Wow! A lot of the snow is GONE... but not quite!
Mom and I can both see a big pile of snow in the neighbor's yard across the street.
And there is still snow in our front yard. When will the snow melt? Dunno, but here is a snow update for the snow you can't see from our front room.
This snow is on the South side of the house, outside Mom's sewing studio. As you can see, there is a lot of it.
This is the view out back. This faces West.
This pile of snow is under Mom's bedroom window. Mom will plant a special "shade garden" here later and she is furry excited about it. This wall faces North.
This pile of snow is under the kitchen window. You can see the snow near the carport, and across the street, our neighbor's pile of snow, and you get a view of the new thing.
So what was the big thing Mom bought yesterday?
Yup, it's a new metal masheen. Mom said it took longer to buy the metal masheen than it did to buy the house we live in.
Mom has been raving all about it. She says the seats are heated so her tushie will be warm in the winter. I suppose that is nice. She says she can open the door if it is locked and the key is in her pocket! (That's a blatant lie. I know there is no such thing as magic.) She says there is a camera in the back so she can make sure the masheen does not run into anything when it backs up. (I guess it isn't as flexible as I am. I just turn around and look.) Mom says the seats are leather and it has a sunroof. (yawn) Mom also says it has that "new car smell."
I bet it doesn't smell as good as Beef.

Oh Millie - tell me, tell me please that your mom bought you some real live dead beef so you could join her in celebrating the arrival of the new metal masheen. And, of course, the new masheen has absolutely nothing on you: your seat is heated, you never run into anything when you're backing up, you're covered in leather AND fur and you have that wonderful pusscat smell. You win!!

Holy Mousies! Yer Mom is driving a race car now?
My human wants one of those cars that has the camera in the back! That's the one thing she really wishes our Mini had!
And yes, it is OUR Mini - with all the cat shows she's been taking me to, I consider it partly mine.
Wow - that' some car!
I like the sound of the warm seats!

Wowza, you have lost a lot of snow, so that is progress.
Mum says concats on the new metal macheen. She has tushie seat warmers too. Nice in cool weather to keep you warm, but not have to have the fan blowing.
Mum drives Miss Lynn's car and it has a backup camera, but she hasn't ever gotten used to using it. She turns around and looks out the back.
