Monday

Mom went to a butterfly place yesterday. (I was not invited. I'm still hiding in all the cool spots.) She saw many butterflies and took many pictures. The butterflies were too fast for her most of the time. But not always. This one, an Emerald Swallowtail, is from Southeast Asia and was about 3" across.

Mim-may is home, happy, and resting. That's a really good thing. Thanks for all your purrs and purr-ayers!

good thing you didn't go to see the butterflies... you might have wanted to cotch yourself one.... and that wouldn't have been good. better to stay in a cool hiding spot.

Fabulous news about Mim-may. Yaaaay.

As for the butterfly place - you can't expect to be invited on such outings whilever you are naughty and don't let your Mom take pictures of you! LOL

Oh, I would have totally wanted to go to the butterfly place - I hear they are even tastier than moths!

I am glad to hear that Mim-may is finally home - that is a very nice belated birthday gift!

The butterflies are awesome? Are they crunchy?

What a lovely flutterby...almost hidden by the green leaf coloration...very smart of mother nature! Our mewms went to a flutterby house in Key West once and said it was like being in fairyland!

Hi Millie! We are so behind - we are glad your Mim-May is doing ok and we hope she had a good birthday!

And we think you are smart to stay in the cool spots!

That is a very pretty butterfly though - we think it is the first time we have seen one like that!
