The Room. The Update

I told you how two very nice ladies ripped off the wallpaper at Mom's day hunting gig. Mom told me that some poor dude (my description, not hers) was spreading mud all over the walls.
Mom says this will make the walls nice and smooth. Then the guys cut a hole in the wall to put a window next to the door.

Nice Mom, but I still don't see a window.
Mom says the custom wallpaper is going up today.  She says I should not hold my breath about any cat hammicks, cat trees or quilts for this room.

Here is a picture of one of a chair that -might- be going in the room.
I do not think it looks nearly comfy enough.

I don't know about beans. Mom has put a lot of work into this room and it just doesn't look like it's going to be a lot different than before.

Oh well.

Well, I'm refusing to concede defeat at this stage Millie. There's still time for your Mom to finangle a couple of quilts and a cat hammock in if she's committed. Mind you, that window doesn't look like it would provide much opportunity for bird TV, so if you do miss out, console yourself with the fact that this room isn't going to have the same kind of facilities that you're used to at home.

Our Mom said the chairs are not suppose to be comfortable. If they were people might fall asleep while in meetings!

No room is complete without a cat tree or two and a few hammocks scattered around for comfort. What do humans know anyway?

Beans. They don't know what's comfy. Now, spread sum fleece around and a tree or two, that's decorating!

The room is for beans so it will not be exciting to you (or us) ! Your Mom will be pleased and excited when all is done :) We think all the comfy stuff is already at your place ;)

What a lot of work! And no cat hammocks or trees, or nuffin?

Your Mom has been busy,Millie - supervising the work and choosing all the trimmings - do you think she will take you in to see it in person? I wonder.
