It's snowing, as you can see, and it should snow all day today, all day tomorrow, right into Tuesday.
And this is really the only way to deal with it.
PS, for Ellen in Oregon (and others), you can find Mom's recipe for English Muffin Bread here:

Mom says the English Muffin Bread is wicked easy to make and doesn't require any bread making skill at all.
Mom had a cooking blog for a while. A lot of her favorite recipes are there.
Hunker down, Millie.
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding me about the English Muffin Bread. I haven't made it yet, but I will. I have the "M" word coming up very soon and it will have to wait until after that. :D
I think they need to rename New England as Snowy England.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a LOT of snow! I guess you plan on a lot of naps!
ReplyDeleteToo bad it isn't connected to a faucet that you can turn off for a change.
ReplyDeleteDoes you Mom have any book recommendations for ours mom? She's looking for something new.
Millie, we're glad to see you have a plan for how to keep your sanity during yet another snow storm. We were wondering if you & mom might go into hibernation mode as a way of coping with all that cold white stuff coming down. Meanwhile, my mom says she is thinking we need to start building an ark, whatever that is, "cuz we have had many inches of rain in the Pacific NW with no end in sight. Trees are fallin' down & mud is sliding down hills around us.
ReplyDeletePlease tell your mom thank you for sharing her English muffin bread recipe & the link to her other recipes. Our mom love to read recipes like they are a good mystery novel. We didn't know mom Lynn used to have a cooking blog. What a talented mom you have Millie.
WE are not too crazy about more snow either. At least we can nap like Millie. Mom,not so much.It is wearing her out though as she got a cold and cuddled with us in bed all weekend :)
