I Am Not Amused.

Mom said we have a small problem.

Mom says it's just a little, teeny tiny thing and that I shouldn't worry about it. (That alone tells me I am being lied to.)

Mom never lies to me. (Well except when she jams me in the PTU and tells me it's going to be OK. And actually, it does turn out OK in the end, so I guess...)

Mom says there is no place to put my cat hammock in the new house.

REALLY? I mean, really? There's a room that has windows along one whole wall. What does she mean there's no place to put my cat hammock?

This is not good.

  1. Oh dear, that is bad news. I'm sure she will figure something, I mean on has to have a hammock.

  2. Don't panic just yet, Millie. Our Mom sometimes comes through for us in the elventh hour. We're sure she'll find a spot or maybe even a NEW hammock!

  4. I'm not sure I'd believe her Millie. I mean - wouldn't a fabulous location for your hammock have been one of the criteria she used when she was deciding whether your new house was suitable or not? And, I seem to recall that she promised a significant improvement in the quality of your bird TV - and one has to lie in a hammock to watch bird TV! Nup - I think she's stringing you along, although why she would do so, I can't imagine.

  7. We have seen some on ETSY that stick to the windows https://www.etsy.com/nz/shop/JennGv?ref=l2-shopheader-name

They look pretty comfy and could be a good replacement for your new house.

  8. Despite being concerned, you should fret too much -- the hammock in its present form may not work in the new house, but I am absolutely certain you will have more napping/hiding/vantage spots than you do now!

  9. Isn't there something on Amazon that would overcome that Millie - like a sort of swing that your hammock would fit on?

  11. Millie - I've had a look at the perches that Poppy Q told you about and they look fabulous. I think you should ask your mom to order three!

  14. Maybe she will figure something out once you move in. Otherwise, some furniture by the window so you can see out.
