Well this does sound like fun Millie - you and your Mom competing in a battle of Hide and Seek. She's been a good sport by letting you know in advance about the v-e-t so that you can get some practice in, and this first attempt wasn't bad. But bear in mind that she'll also be practising her 'seeking' skills, so you'll really have to put in a good effort on Wednesday.
