This is what it looks like outside my house in New Hampster today, Saturday February 27th. As you can all see, there is no snow. OK, there is a tiny bit, but not enough to have a When When Contest.
Many of you are sorry, but Mom and I are not. It's not always fun to navigate through gigantic piles of snow, or to worry if there is too much on your roof.
Maybe next year!
PS I am still in Passa Dena, having fun with Mrs P's third grade students. I went to recess with them on Friday, and boy oh boy did I have fun. Running and climbing, chasing balls around in the warm California sunshine was great. Photos later (I hope.)
I don't blame you and your mom, Millie. I'd rather not have snow, either, especially if I had to shovel it or drive in it. Enjoy your California sunshine.
ReplyDeleteWe must say, we are not too sad either.
ReplyDeleteMum is most happy.
You have to look to find snow and she wants it to stay that way :)
The snow shovel has dust on it :)

Well, I, for one, am disappointed that we're not having a When When contest this year. I'm wondering whether you might be able to adapt the competition to a different natural event. For example, could we have a When When about when a plant might first be visible poking its head up through the soil in your garden? Or when the first flower might be in bloom?

It is nice to have a winter where the snow is gone early. Same here, but we might get a little bit more snow this week.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I didn't think it was happening this year!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't even had a flurry this year. Our Mommy is loving it!
ReplyDeleteWe fully unnerstand. While we miss the When When, there does have ta be snow fer it...
