Bummer indeed, Millie. I think you should sit your mom down and explain to her that she needs to improve her English language skills; she needs to be much more thoughtful in her word selection - this is not the first time she's created entirely the wrong expectations, only to have you disappointed. I'm sorry that you had to go through this.
