Sunny Saturday

This looks great! Mom and I both love the sunny day, the blue sky and the warm temperatures. I hope the snow melts FAST. Well, actually, I am more interested in the ICE melting from the driveway and the parking lot out back.

Mom fell again today. She took one step out the door and slipped and fell on the black ice. She was not a happy camper. She did not think the ground was covered with ice. Mom got up, came back inside and got some of the ice-melt pellets and spread it out.  Then she went out food hunting, and now she is back home. She says her butt hurts, and she's going to do some sewing. She has some ideas for a wedding quilt, but she hasn't shared them with me.

I am napping.

  2. I hope your human is not badly hurt, Millie! That black ice is dangerous, and one of the worst things about winter in snowy areas.

  3. A little sun makes it all look not so bad, but that black ice is tricky stuff!

  6. Hi Millie! Thanks for visiting me the other day--the Human has been TERRIBLE about helping me visit!

We are sorry your Mom had a spill! Hope she is better soon.

Also, we'll guess April 5 for the last of the snow. Can we have that day? Let us know if we have to pick again XOXOXOXO

  8. Tell your mum to be careful. Our mum assumes it is icy until she tests it out or is 1000% sure of the footing. She doesn't want to break anything.

  12. Hi Millie, I'm sorry to hear your mum has hurt her butt. I hope she feels better soon. Sorry I haven't dropped in for a long time. I've been pretty sick and now I have to move house! Mum doesn't think I know, but I do! Mum has spent months worrying about me and now she is worried about the move. Sorry I missed your contest. I hope the snow melts soon for you. I've never seen snow! I'm off to have a nap now!

  13. Purrs for your Mom's butt ;) We do not like this snow and ice stuff either.
One morning Mom was walking to the bus stop and fell too! We think it is nicer to be indoors ;)
