Thursday Thing

This is what it looks like outside this morning after the sun came up.  We were supposed to get between one to four inches of snow, then they changed it to three to four inches. We got 4 inches. It wrecked all kinds of havoc on the roads.  There was a 46 mile (74 km) traffic jam on the way to Boston yesterday morning!!! Boston is about 50 miles away! There were over 60 accidents in New Hampster and at least 60 spinouts. Mom got to her day hunting gig safely (and by driving very slowly).

Mom's tippy tapping is progressing nicely. Last night she held up two fingers.

Hi! Where I live we had 48 cm (almost 19 inches) last week. The whole city shut down for the day. We had very few accident here though. We are a very tough bunch used to ice and snow. lol

  2. We got some of that white stuff yesterday, too, Millie. It's pretty, unless you have somewhere to go!

  3. Wow, a 46 mile traffic jam is even worse than what happens here in Los Angeles! (Of course we manage to do that sort of thing even without snow.)

  5. I'm sorry that your mom has had to battle her way to work on snowy roads.

Over here, we're expecting the temperature to get up to 104 degrees F today - aaargh. I'd rather have your snow.

  7. Wow, that would not be fun to sit in the snow in your car. Hopefully your mum has a short trip to work.

  9. Aiiieeee!! Our snow is only a couple inches. Haven't had any since the big storm in Med Dec dumped 8 inches. Now we are going in the deep freeze. Watch for us on the weather news.
