Well, Millie, we unnerstans. Our team had a lotta lotta lotta GREAT years (or so I am told--it was long before my time), and then they've had 20 years or so of awfulness. Then this year, there was an exciting moment of hope....but alas, those G-Men crushed us like a soda pop can and all our hopes came tumbling down two weeks ago.
But we gotted over it! We're not sad anymore....just a little bitter and vengeful, MOL!! XOXOXO
We live in Holland so we don't have that problem right now but wait until soccer season starts! For now we totally get why you are sad and we hope you feel better tomorrow!
I am sorry about your guys named Pat, Millie. They let you down. Maybe next year will be better?
We know how you feel, in our house it is Chelsea Football Club we support and they are not exactly having a great year either. Their chances of winning the league are looking pretty remote already with half the season still to go...
Poor You & Mom. Our mom's hockey team hasn't won for 36 years. They've got to the finals then lost. She almost wishes if they're going to eventually lose it would be best if they did it in the first or second round because it doesn't hurt as much. Yeah, it feels like your heart has been ripped out through your stomach. We understand.
