Not Quite Wordless

I slept with Mom a bit last night on her bed. She's saying I took up HALF the bed! I do not know why she said that. As you all plainly see, I am merely a small kitty on a very big bed. I do not take up HALF of it.

Whatever spot in which I happen to be sleeping is mine, that's all I ask. That's perfectly reasonable.

  1. Clearly you only have a tiny space on the bed Millie - we think you should suggest to your mom that if she's not happy with 99.9% of the room she can always use your Gizzy quilt.

  2. Angel agrees with you! Just be cause her spot is dead center of the bed does not mean it is half the bed!

  3. Yes, it is a small space. Moms can be kind of dim sometimes.

  4. Yeah, Millie, I don't see why humans complain so much about the little bits of room we take up on the bed. They can work around it - I've seen them do it lots of times.

  5. I hear ya, Millie! Just because the tiny spot I take is the very center of the bed, that doesnt mean its MY problem...

  6. I don't think you've really thought this one through, Millie. If you plonk yourself right in the middle of the bed, you do make it difficult for your mom, even though you're only tiny. Might I suggest that you discuss with your mom which side of the bed each of you prefers, then stick to your respective sides? That way you can snuggle up together in the middle if you wish, but you can also move closer to the edge of your respective halves for a bit of alone time.

  7. You're a real trick, Millie.

You have a very contented look on your face and I am sure your Mom is smiling, too. ( She really doesn't mind, you know. )

  8. I agree Millie, I don't think your mom minds a bit. I sleep next to mom a lot and she makes sure I have my own space. In fact, I've heard her several times tell dad to move way over so I have enough room!:))

  9. My mum says the same thing as yours, and I have the same answer as you.

    Your quilt looks lovely.

Oh, you are so much a cat! How is it that a, say, 10 pound kitty can take up 60% of the space? We don't know but we do it too!

  12. You are so right, Millie. We just don't understand human "logic" sometimes...

  13. Just like out daddy. He takes up 3/4 of the bed and mom gets a sliver on the side! We sleep at the bottom. It's a very full bed.

  14. You shouldn't take up half the bed, you should take up ALL the bed! That's a pretty quilt. It just needs a bunch of kitty furs to make it purrfect.

  15. Even tiny cats have a way of claiming a fair amount of space.
