The continuing adventures of me, Millie, the kitty Malcolm rescued and cat bloggers all over the world helped save. I'm really grateful.

Thoughtful Thursday
We didn't have any of the bad storms that hit our neighbors in Mass-a-choo-cats yesterday. The weather guys said if there is a tornado warning to hide in the basement or an "interior space." Mom says this drawer doesn't count. Bast!
Well the weather was probably frightened away by your dramatic pose of yesterday Millie. Well done! You're much more powerful than you give yourself credit for.
If a tornado does hit your area, I think you'd probably have to dig right down into your mom's clothing, cover yourself up completely, and leave furs on every single item in the drawer before the weather guys would agree that you were safe.
You look a bit worried tonight, Millie - I am sure that your Mom will take good care of you, and if the weather gets worse, you and she will find a good spot to bunker down.
Glad to hear the weather didn't go near you. It did not make it to peabody but we had the light show from the lightning. Although not in the Tornado area, My family and friends are south of boston and I guess the rain and thunder and lightning were really bad.
Sadly, Millie, the weather guys are right - the drawer is not a good hiding space in a tornado. It's probably better to be in a cat carrier in a closet or a basement, surrounded by your humans.
We don't have basements here in Orlando. Bob said if a tornado comes here we can hide in the bathroom. It is in the center of the house and has no windows.

You've never been in the bathtub, have you?
ReplyDeleteSadly, Millie, the weather guys are right - the drawer is not a good hiding space in a tornado. It's probably better to be in a cat carrier in a closet or a basement, surrounded by your humans.
ReplyDeleteWE hope you never have to find that safe place!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry Millie!!! We are sure your Mom will look after you when any bad storm comes :) We are glad you are safe!!
