Hugo arrived from Mary-land yesterday. It was a long drive in Mr Brown's van, and he was happy to be here.
Hugo is a sweet hippo. He is very polite and well mannered. But I still had to check him out.
He was hungry. He had some salad for dinner.
Afterwards, he chatted with Mom while she was sewing.
And then he told me about all his travels.
He's a small hippo, and I have to get really close to hear what he has to say.
Mom set up a nice little sleeping bag for Hugo. He has a big day tomorrow. He is quite eager to investigate all the snow outside!

Oh I am so glad Hugo did not freeze on his trip! He does look very happy to be in a warm friendly home again. I can't wait to read more about his adventures!
