It's starting to get chilly here in New Hampster. Mom has to call the lord of land, because when she turns on the heating monster down in the basement, the smoke detective down there starts beeping. She checked it all out - no smoke - but when the heating monster turned off, the beeping stopped.So, as my Brit friends would say, she's not best pleased.
Oh, did I mention the lord of land is away on a trip right now?
Our does that too. Our mum says that it's just the dust burning off. But best to get it checked out to be sure.

That usually happens here too. I open all the doors and windows when I first turn on the beast. After the dust burns off all is well. Its drizzling here but I won't have to turn the heater on until November! Maybe not until December. What can I say? Its our Southern California weather. lol (Don't tell anyone but I'd just as soon have snow in December.)

ReplyDeleteYou want to hear something funny? A week ago, here in SoCal it was triple digit weather. Today it was rainy and so cold this evening that my human turned on the heat in her office!
