Scritches
When I was a little kit, I didn't like getting touched.But now I do. I make sure I get my scritches every day. I tell Mom where I want them, and I let her know when I've had enough.
I even rub up against her legs in the morning while she gets my foods ready.
Yaaay for you Millie. I was sad when I read in your earliest posts that you didn't like to be touched and hugged and cuddled, 'cos for a bean, getting to do those things is amongst the best reasons for having a cat. And it's just heavenly to have a cat sit on your lap, allow itself to be cuddled and having it purr like crazy. So, I'm very glad for you and I'm very glad for your Mom that you now enjoy a cuddle each day.
So glad you like to get your scritches now!!!! My Grandma's kitty loves to cuddle and get her scritcehs. It's nice to have a bean that loves you enoiugh to give you scritches whenever you want them =)
I've heard, Millie-face, that you sit with your mom in her chair and watch Tennis with her...I'll bet there's a little scritchin' goin' on then, too, isn't there?
oh Millie, you haf come so very far! we 'amember you didn't like Malcolm touching you and then when you got to your forever home you hid unner the dresser alot. scritches are the best, aren't they?
Millie, I remember reading the early posts on your blog about you not wanting to be touched - you have come such a long way! It is wonderful that you have become the happy loving kitty you are now! Your mom has done such a wonderful job taking care of you and helping you to become the fabulous kitty you are!

ReplyDeleteI'm a bit like you Miss M, so I know how you feel. I don't do the leg rubs too often, but mum enjoys them when I do do them.
