WE do the same thing.....well I do the same thing. I want my stinky goodness the minute the can is open! Orion is such a good boy, he stays on the floor (yes we get fed on the counter) till Meowm has his open and in his dish.
We like turkey, but we rarely get Fancy Feast. Miss Jade is like you, only she doesn't wait. She sticks her head in the can while mom is putting it in the dish, and gets gravy all over her face.
My kitties are loosing their interest in the turkey flavor lately - I am not sure why. I guess kitties tastes change. I am glad your mom knows to get the one you like the best!
My favoritetest flavor of stinky goodness is Turkey. Mom has -finally- learned to buy only turkey all the time.
Nothing wrong with Turkey, especially with some yummy gravy.
