Tough Week

Mom came home from her day hunting gig on Monday shaking all over. I had to make her sit down so I could get next to her and purr. You will be happy to know I got her back to normal after an hour or so.

Tuesday night wasn't a lot better, although she didn't need so much purring time.

Wednesday she was a little bit better, but she still seemed a bit freaked out to me. I think she said some beans at her day hunting gig were laying down.

She isn't, but I don't understand why laying down is a bad thing. This is one of those times that I am really glad I am a cat.

And it's one time I think Mom would rather be a cat, too.

  1. Millie, it is hard when beans have their friends and co-workers leave due to no money. We are glad to hear that your mommy will still have a job.

  3. It's very scary for the beans out there. Mama's worrying about what she's gonna do after the 22nd. That's her last day at her jobbie.

  4. I hope your moms job is safe - it must be very worrying for her. Luckily my mum is pretty safe in her job, at the moment.

Tell your mom to take it easy and you girls snuggle together.

  5. Like the other kitties said, it's very tough when people are laid off from their day-hunting places. Mum gets sad when she sees it. We're glad that your Mom still has her job, but she's gonna need some snuggle time with you especially now,

  7. We are glad to hear your Mom is safe, but are sad for the other people at her jobbie. Our Mom said at her jobbie they are discussing fur-low - we don't understand that either.

  9. One of my people is also out looking for a job. He is hoping for one to come he way soon. I would give up my treats if it helped them out. But so far they haven't had to take them away. I hope your mom's job stays safe and secure.

  10. We are glad your Mom still has her job. Mom came home to be tired rather than lay down! It is scary for the beans now.

  11. Keep purring for your Mom and keep her spirits up! Our Mom just got a job after moving and looking for almost a year - things will perk up soon.

  12. So many friends we know are having this too! It is a very hard time for people because they depend on their gigs, and that makes it very important for us kitties to purr and comfort them when they get home after a long day.

  13. Millie it is good that your mom is not getting laid down from her hunting - a lot of people are. Just be sure to give her extra love - even if you aren't the one laid down you still feel the stress from it, and worry a lot.

We're very happy she has you there to help her at this time. It's pretty scary out there for humans right now.

  16. Keep up the purrs for your mum. While she may not be laid down, she may have more work to do, with less people to help her. Purr, purr, purr.

  18. Millie-face, I just hate that they're layin' off people at your mom's day-hunting gig..lot's of people don't realize it's pretty hard to be one of the ones who DON'T get laid off..you feel relieved and lucky, but also kinda guilty and very sad for all your friends and coworkers. I'll send you some extra purrs (not that you need them)to help comfort your mom.
