What's Up Wednesday?
Yesterday, Mom came home from her day hunting gig, fed me and made herself dinner. Then she sat down in the recliner and read a book.
I sat next to her, and she gave me scritches. She must -finally- be learning, because she didn't stop. Petting me, I mean.
She read the whole book, from start to finish, by the way. Works for me.

When ever Bob tries to read we either paw at the book to knock it out of his hands, or get in between the book and him and put our face in his to tell him he needs to pay attention to us instead of the book. He always relents and gives which ever of us is messing with him a bunch of pets and cuddles, then he goes back to his book until the next finds him.

Mom does that occasionally, when an exceptionally good book comes along. Then she has problems with her eyes for days. We are glad you good lots of good scritches, Millie!

Must have been a short book, mum rarely reads a book she can read in one night.
ReplyDeleteYour mom must be a fast reader like mine..especially if it's a really good book. I like to sit with her when she reads, but sometimes she forgets I'm there, so I put my paw at the top of her Kindle and push down..THAT gets her attention!
