National Feral Cat Day

Today is National Feral Cat Day.

I am a Formerly Feral Cat. I am one of the lucky ones. (Really, really lucky.) Did you know that 72% of cats entering pounds or shelters are killed?

Their mission is: "To end the killing of cats and lead the movement for their humane care." Their website is full of information about how you can help.

Go on over to Alley Cat Allies and sign up to be an Alley Cat Ally. Like me!

  3. I was a shelter cat and Angel was feral. Now we have a wonderful home, just like you! Angel is getting a little calmer and asks for scritches. I know she will follow your example and start asking more often!

  4. Thanks for posting this important info!

Most of my kitties have been rescues and I'm honoured that they shared their lives with me.

We are rescues, bit not formerly feral. That does not stop us from believing that all cats deserve a chance to live! We are huge supporters of T-N-R!

  9. I am glad you found a lovely home Millie. You could have ended up as a squished kittie in the road.
