Easy Like Sunday Morning

Here's what it looks like outside this morning. Another icky March day. But Mom says it is getting warmer, and the days are longer, so that's good. Plus, this month is half over!

Back to more important matters (stuff about me!)
At least one of here knows how to take it easy on Sunday morning. (That would be me.) I just -love- my new Cat Hammick from 40 Paws. Mom set it up here under her work table in the sewing room. From here I can look at everything that's going on.

Mom has been rubbing that white cloth over everything in the kitchen and the bathroom. She did the sides of the coldbox, the top of the cold box (which gets really sticky and disgusting), and the front doors. She even took off most of the magnets. It looks naked! Then she did the same thing to the hot-as-hell box. The rug sucking monster has made several appearances.

Everywhere she goes she's got that silly iPod thing plugged into her ears. She says she's ripped almost all her CD's but I think she's lying. I haven't seen any pieces anywhere.

Today she should be sewing. She's got some Gizzy Quilts to work on. But who knows what she'll do. God forbid she'd take it easy.

  1. The Big Thing said ta us today (an yer NOT GONNA BELIEVE this), sometimes Beins hata do things that dont involve cats...

GASP! That must be why he sometimes uses the sucky machine and has strange Beins ta visit him!

Bad, bad, bad. We are gonna breathe in his face all night...

  3. Millie, tell your Mom that when she is finished rubbing the white cloth all over your house, she can come and rub it all over our house. Our Mom is very lazy when it comes to white cloth rubbing.

  5. Your mum is more ennerjettik than our mum. She sez she has to do housework, then she sez "boys do you want to go furr a walk" so of course we say yes, then the housework duzn't get finished.

  7. Are you sure your mum wouldn't like to visit our house? We have lots of cleaning that needs doing!

We have to complain about your mum hating March though. We love March in our house. Here, March means daffodils, crocuses, hyacinths, birds tweeting, hot cross buns, the smell of fresh spring grass and...my mum's purrthday! Not to mention Easter eggs. So she really likes March.

  8. Millie, you look so cute in your hammick! We thinks that your Mommy should take a rest and take a nap with you!

Yep, another grey day here too. No crocuses, no birds tweeting, no spring grass (all our grass is still covered by lots of snow).

  11. We wish Mom would do some cleaning around here. All she is doing is grading, and that usually means "cranky mommy."

  12. Millie, you look great on your hammock. Mom just got an iPod too, but hasn't been as quick about loading it up as your mom has. Tell your mom not to look outside anymore, and just look at all the pretty colorful fabrics she has so that the gray won't be depressing.
