Slow Saturday

Mom's test went very well. They found something called a pollup and took it out, and now it is going to be tested. Let's keep all our toes & paws crossed it isn't anything. A genetic relative has colon cancer, so Mom's chances are 18% higher than average.

After the test she was a little unsteady on her feet. Mimmay brought her home and helped her get settled. Mom had oatmeal and hot chocolate, then got into bed and we had a nice 3 hour nap. I have been sleeping next to her, making sure she is OK.

She has to have only "soft foods" for the next three days. I wonder if she will get a hint and give me stinky goodness! I like some soft foods too!

She had thought she would get some housecleaning done this weekend. HAH! They told her not to do anything strenuous, or do any heavy lifting.

  1. We're thinking the bestest thoughts - it's good she's got you there with her to help her nap.

Everything we have is crossed for a non-dangerous polyp. Except our eyes, cuz then we can't see right.

Funny about being unsteady on the feet... since I live in Lost Wages everyone will just think I'm drunk. AKA situation normal for most people in this city.

Sounds like you're going to have a nice relaxing weekend. For a change. You deserve it! Sit down and watch the guys named Pat. Hope we win! Again!

  5. Dear Millie and mom - I is glad to hear they got to pull that nasty polyp out. You lie in bed and eat jelly all weekend. No heavy lifting, dat is what you has a son for.

Have a good rest and take it easy.
