Mom made me another quilt, twice as big as the last "table quilt." It's the size of half an ordinary Gizzy. I call it a Skinny Gizzy. This one has pieces that many cats may recognize from their quilts... I see pieces from Mr Zenith, Parker, Charlemagne, Samantha, Beau, Marie, Freya, Daisy Mae Maus, Speedy, Daisy, Kimiko and Kona's quilts.
Here's the back. I love it. It's really funky.
And here I am trying it out. As you can see, it is just the right size. It's sitting on a stack of fabric Mom has to cut and iron.
Mom's feeling poorly. She keeps honking. She says her nose is running, but every time I look at her, it's right on her face where it belongs.
That honking thing must be going around! Mom's walking around wif kleenex stuffed up her noze so she doesn't drip! That kwilt looks grate wif oo on it.

Dat's a better sized one!! Sorry to hear your mom is feeling poorly. Tell her to warm up the bed, grab a hot drink and you girls snuggle up.
ReplyDeleteIt's the season for germy germs there. But a honky nose means that moms body is fighty those germy beasts.
I like the photo of you on your new quilt, and it is lovely that is made up of bits from all your friends.

Millie, Your Mom sure is nice to make you such a beautiful quilt. Looks good to me. Mom should make one for my Missy, the little Shih Tzu. Maybe for Christmas. I am so sorry you Mom is sick, that's too bad, you take good care of her. I am also very haPPy the Red Socks won. Our phone kept ringing and I couldn't sleep so I turned on the tv to watch them win.

ReplyDeleteI iz sorry yore mum is feeling pawly and hope she iz betta soon. I like yore Skinny Gizzy too, and I kan see sum peeces frum mine kwilt in it. Guess wot - thuh guinea pig Basil hadda nerve and sat on mine kwilt thuh uther day.

ReplyDeleteThat's a cute skinny Gizzy quilt. Oh Millie and Mom, we got out Gizzy quilts today and they are beautiful. Mom took pictures and she will post them in the next couple of days. We love them and they showcase our furs just right!
