Napping Cats, Qwiltz and a Hairball

Do cats get a prize for packing themselves into tight little balls when they nap?

That's Jasmine up top on the pink pillow, and Gizzy in the cat hammock.

Here are a couple of kitty quilt tops. Both of these are spoken for. The red one is all sewed up, the green one is just laid out.

Mom went out today and came back to find a hairball on the rug in the picture box room. It was the biggest hairball she had ever seen. It was as big around as her thumb, very tightly packed and over two inches long.

Yeah.

Now let's think about that for a few minutes... Where could that have come from? And why was it so big, and WHICH cat upchucked it?

...Uh huh, that's what she was thinking too...

Maybe it was Gizzy and that is why he has been sick. Wouldn't that be great. I am rooting for Gizzy.

  3. Those quilts look great. :)

A big hairball? I guess that's one of the advantages of being furless - no hairballs!

Hopefully what Missy suggested is true - it was Gizzy's hairball and was making him feel ill.

Yikes! Some hairballs can be downright massive. Whoever produced it probably feels a lot better now!

My little Edison yakked up about 2" of a felt wand toy yesterday morning. Then followed that up with pooing out 4" more last night. (I no longer leave that toy out.) Oy. Seems kittens can be just as chewy as puppies.

  9. I'm with the rest ... Let's hope that it was Gizzy's hairball that was making him feel urpy and now he's gonna feel much better! I suppose not knowin' who is responsible is the problem of havin' all the same colors of cats. The Feline Americans are all different colors, so Mom can tell who barfed pretty easy.

    Good luck, Gizzy!

  12. Ooooh - a big 'ol hairball! We hopes that was Gizzy's problem - Mommakitty's former Meezer Misha gotted furry sick from too many hairballs that just wouldn't pass (one end or the other) - we hopes this is all it was and now it is OUT!

BTW - it is cat rules that you does not give up who did the hack (but we hopes it was Gizzy!)

  13. Oh, I'm with all the others and hope that it was Gizzy that yakked up the giant hairball. It would be great if that was what was wrong with him and he will be all better now.

  16. Have you considered drying that hairball and selling it on eBay?

Or maybe having it bronzed and mounted?
