A bug bit Mom and she might have Lime Disease. Oops. Mom says it is Lyme Disease, and it is nasty. She needs me, and I am more than happy to help her get better.
I am also happy because it means she won't be spending so much time in the garden. She'll be in the house with me.
Heh.
I'm pleased that your mom has a diagnosis for her illness, as uncertainty can be very worrying. That said, Lyme Disease is nasty and she's going to need a lot of purrs from you to help her get better. Give her a big kiss and a head bump from me, will you? Thanks Millie.

Nasty stuff, Millie. I hope your mom feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteOh Millie, we are so sorry to hear your Mom is sick. We did some research on Lime Disease and found that New Hampshire currently has the highest incidence of the disease per 100,000 people with 1,700 cases last year. How unlucky was that for your Mom. Take care of her Millie.

ReplyDeleteLyme disease is nasty, nasty. Millie, lots of snuggles, head bumps, licky kisses and purrs surely will help "nurse" her through this woe. Since NH is rampant with the stuff, doctors there surely are up on identification of and current treatments...unlike the Midwest. Prayers for your mom...
