Millie Monday

This is me, lying next to Mom on the couch, getting scritches.  I don't do this every day.

There's still a lot of snow outside. School has been cancelled and a lot of folks are without electricity.  They even cancelled Halloween!

  1. Happy Halloween! With all that snow, you need to snuggle with Mom. Canceled Halloween! How could they!

  5. 10 years ago we here in the Minneapolis area had a storm that is now known as the "Halloween Blizzard"(duh).
Some kind of weird weather conditions came together and the storm stalled overhead. It snowed for 4 days: 46.9 inches!

It's too soon for a winter wonderland!

  6. Scritches are nice, huh Millie?

They canceled Halloween in some of the towns around here, too ... too much snow, too many power lines down. :(

We hope you have a Happy Halloween anyway!

  7. singing....."Oh the weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful" - Mommy said knock it off, these good people don't want to hear it. Stay warm and cozy then. We hopes things get better. xoxo

  8. I don't know how "they" cancel Halloween, Millie. Sounds as do-able as, say, cancelling next Monday. Perhaps you could get them to cancel the day next September when you're scheduled to go to the V-E-T for your annual check up? Now there's a thought!

  9. Actually, we were wunnering how trickertreaters would get along walkin through the snow. TBT said he dint think that had ever happened before in most places.

In fact, we saw trees with green leaves toppled over by snow!

  10. I didn't see your blog yesterday Millie - but when I looked at it now, I could hardly believe it. As I have told you before, I live in a place which doesn't get snow.
Mom's photo was, of course, exactly like many of the others which you posted last winter. Incredible!
