Spring Is Coming

Every day Mom lets me go out on the front porch, even though the temperature is close to freezing. I get to stay out there for five minutes, and that's enough for me to scope out my territory and see what's going on.

However, when the weather is really nice, like when it's sunny and the temps are in the 40's F, Mom will let me out on the porch for a bit longer than that.  You can see me out there enjoying the weather.

And you're letting all that cold air into the house, Millie - because your mum leaves the window open for you so you can come back in whenever you wish. She is very very good to you, isn't she?

We look forward to Spring too.
It was sunny today and Julie was on the porch for a while. Now it is really windy and mum says it will snow, then, ice pellets then rain by morning before getting cold again.
We are SO ready for Spring!

Our weather has cooled this week with thoughts of autumn, and we have windows open too as mum loves a touch of fresh air. You are lucky to have such a great porch so you can sniff the outsides and watch the neighbors.

It is nice you can get out in a protected area, Millie! It will be better when the weather improves.

Mom Paula was just saying today that she wishes she had a screened porch! Maybe one day...

We have an open patio where we live now and I've already been out lounging on it. Dad keeps an eye on the weather up there in New England. He and mom are from up there and his kids still live there. Far as I'm concerned we can stay down south for eternity.
