Disbelief

I knew it.

I knew it couldn't last.

As soon as Mom heard she was going to be a Mim-may she's been plotting.

Another M-word implementation is coming.

And seriously, you have to ask where?

Catifornia, of course.

We're supposed to have up to five inches of snow this weekend.

Any questions?

This does not surprise me, Millie - and I'm sure the snow is just One More Thing.

That would be exciting - and a lot warmer.

We wondered how long it would be before mom Lynne would mention the M word. zit would be very hard for a Mim-May to be thousands of miles away from her Grandbaby. We hope your mom comes up with a good plot to achieve her goal. California here you come Millie. We hope you don't go all Hollywood on us or become a Valley Girl kitty. You could always try to convince Mr Karate & Rubylocks to move to New Hampster, but that doesn't get rid of the snow factor.

Oh - I didn't realise that you were joking. Phew! It would be a huge project to move to Catifornia so soon after moving into your new house.

I'm still voting for Mr Karate and Rubylocks to move to New Hampster. Snow is good for you.

I'm glad you're staying, but I will admit that I was gleefully thinking about the looks of panic on certain faces when your Mom turned in her notice.

I am glad that it was only a joke about moving.

I was speaking with friends ( in Sydney ) this morning and amongst many other things, we spoke of weather conditions overseas, as one of the group is leaving for Europe this coming week. I told them about the winter photos you share with us, usually showing heavy snow, which didn't appear this year - except you now tell me that it is on the way? Strange.

Bob says he would move to Colorado, if he was going to move out west again. He lived in California for a couple of years before he went into the ARMY and it was OK, but when he and Monika went to Colorado for their honeymoon, he fell in love with the place.
