Tuxie Tuesday (or Not)

This is not me. This isn't 'Nip either.

I do not know why, but Mom calls this plant "Cousin It."  She has three of them.***  She planted more stuff in the garden, but nope, no 'Nip yet. She claims she keeps forgetting. She says I have at least THREE bags of 'Nip here in the house, and that she can't plant FRESH 'Nip in the garden because other rude neighborhood cats will roll all over it and wreck it.

I have been camping out on the front porch, in the dark, watching everything, including the rain.

I have not been posing for pictures lately. Mom has been watching (and re-watching) the tennis from Paris. She was very happy that Stan won.

*** Mom says this is Hakonechloa Aureola.

Oh yes - Cousin It it is! Very good.

Nip: I can understand why your mom has elected not to plant nip in the garden, but she promised nip on the front porch and there is NO EXCUSE. No excuse at all Millie. The fact that you have bags of nip in the house is irrelevant because (i) a gal can never have enough nip (ii) fresh nip is always better than dried, packaged nip (iii) your mom promised, so she should deliver and (iv) a gal can never have enough nip. (Ooops, I mentioned that already - but it warrants mentioning again.) Nip, nip, nip, nip, nip!

Perhaps you could explain that you'll continue your photo-posing strike until you see half a dozen pots planted with nip seeds. And one extra pot to be planted for every additional day that passes before it's done and a big chunk of real live dead beef too.

Or, I could come over and have a quiet word with your mom if you like. Help her with her priorities and project planning. Just say the word.

I hope this dire situation is rectified quick smart. Chin up!

Sometimes it is good to keep Mom guessing! But if you tell us you are on the porch, will Mom catch on and get a photo?
