Mom made some bread and put butter on it. She put it down. I assumed it was for me, so I sniffed it and decided to try it. It was good. Turns out I like butter. Who knew?
Good to be adventurous and try new things, Millie. Odd that your mom would prepare it especially for you though - which makes me think that it probably wasn't for you! She should know better than to put things down where you can sniff and lick them.
We give our furry kids some butter smeared around the edge of a plate and it helps with hairballs (a little, at least!).... when we remember to give it to them. Hope your tests turn out okey dokey!
I love butter!!!! Whenever someone makes toast or a bagel or english muffin in the toaster I come on the run! They even break off a piece and hold it while I lick it!! -Scout ps: try cheez whiz & philly cream cheese too.

Butter could be considered a beef type product.
