The Big W

As you know Mom and I are big tennis fans. Right now the biggest tennis tournament of them all, Wimbledon, is taking place now. Mom was shocked when Nadal lost in the first round, but Steve Darcis played magnificently. We have a soft spot in our hearts for Roger Federer, who has won the big W seven times, but this year Mom wants Andy Murray to win.

We were very sad to see the Bruins lose last night. Since we are part of Red Sox Nation, the "Broons" are our guys on ice.

It's been wicked hot. (We say "wicked" a lot here in New England.)

I've been hiding in all the cool spots, which is why there isn't a picture of me here today. Instead, here's a picture of how green it is here in the summer in lovely New Hampster.

We have had the hots, too. WE do not understand when Mom says it is too hot to go outside!

Mom was cheering for the Bruins this year since the Flyers weren't in it and mom hates Chicago. Oh well. There's always next year. And she's been saying that for nearly 40 years. *sigh*

We wanted the series to go to a 7th game, just because it is more exciting that way. But mom's team (Ducks - silly woman) were out a long time ago.
Mom says the road looks like a nice drive, we don'ts like riding in cars.
Stay cool Millie!
