Birthday

Mr Karate came to visit yesterday (he now lives in Beantown), and Mom and he spent the day together. His birthday is Monday, but they decided to celebrate early. They went shopping for his presents, and then came home to make dinner.

LOOKIT these two beautiful pieces of BEEF!  Mom says they are Fill-ay Min-yawn.  OH, they were SO gorgeous, and then Mom put that stupid dirt all over them. Mom and Mr Karate ate these pieces of beef (yes I got some) along with Asp-a-rag-us (roasted with Parmy cheese) and Mush Rooms (sauteed in butter, then served with white whine and parsley) and grilled red onion slices.  Frankly I don't know why they needed all the other stuff. That Beef was perfect by itself.

Anyway, Mr Karate must have been very tired, because he took a nap while Mom made dinner.  Lookit him, he's almost as good at napping as I am.

After dinner the family went to get Eye Scream for dessert and posed for this picture.  A good time was had by all.

That is a good family photo! Mom could even tell us who every one was!

Happy birthday to Mr Karate, looks like he had a good family celebration. A beautiful piece of beef.

We got inspired by you, and your clean up post yesterday, and pulled our winter clothes out of the wardrobes, and got rid of over fifty pieces. Mainly to the charity shop, but some needed to be thrown out.

Mum still says she has too many clothes, and this will stop her spending any more monies. Although she desperately needs more pants.

I'm glad to hear you got some of the birthday meat, Millie! Do you think your human will make YOU some filet mignon on your gotcha day?

P.S. Happy birthday to Mr Karate!

Well that all sounds like a very dramatic birthday dinner, Millie: Beef with dirt that yawns, asps and some screaming to finish off. Your birthday dinner was a very low key affair in comparison. I'm thrilled that you got some of that beef, though, because it did look good.

TBT is reading about the birfday dinner with great approval (and some greedy lip-licking motions)! We are only innerested in the beef centers (the parts without the dirt). Those are the only bits we eat here.
