The Idjit

Mom was pretty upset yesterday with the idjit upstairs. He decided that two inches of slush needed to be snowblowed out of the driveway at ten minutes to seven on Saturday morning, when the temperature was supposed to get up into the forties later.

Let me tell you about two inches of slush.  No snowblower can throw it anywhere. It's heavy as wet beach sand.  Trying to snow blow it means the snowblower works really hard and makes a terrible noisy sound.  This particular snowblower is pretty wimpy, and doesn't throw real snow more than a foot away. Mom thinks it's pretty useless. She says shoveling it to one side would have been faster and left the driveway cleaner.  Not only that, the idjit didn't even do the whole driveway. And he didn't do any part of the parking lot out back.

Sure enough, after the bozo woke Mom up from a deep sleep (on a day she could sleep late), the weather got warmer and the slush melted on its own. In fact, it was gone by lunchtime. (It had melted away in the parking lot too!)

What was funnier (!!!) was the upstairs idjit never went anywhere until AFTER the slush melted.

Wow, your post brings back memories of our neighbour at the old house. He started every Saturday morning (in the summer) vaccuming his cars (3 of them) in the back yard. Then he'd vaccum his back yard 'cuz it was cement. Mom hated him a lot! We don't miss him either!!1

I call 'em i-dots.
Have a current neighbor boy with toys who plows 1 inch of snow with his truck and plow. At midnight.

We have idjits on both sides of us--an alcoholic on one side, and a hoarder (well, there are 4 people and 4 dogs living in that house and they NEVER put out any garbage) on the other...so we understand your pain (and how weekend sleeping in is very impurrtant, too!)

I hope you sat on the windowsill and glared and glared at him Millie, and hissed when he looked in your direction.

How annoying! I bet you were as unhappy with this guy as your human was, Millie!
