討吃吃;give me food

The continuing adventures of me, Millie, the kitty Malcolm rescued and cat bloggers all over the world helped save. I'm really grateful.
She has parked herself in front of the tv. I will watch from the couch. I know Mom loves Roger Federer, and is hoping he can win. I am rooting for the American, Mardy Fish.
and Mom.
Mom made a cake and has batteries for her flashlights.
Mom has charged up all her toys:
and bought water for us to drink,
and filled up the bathtub with buckets full of water,
(although why Mom did this, I do not know. Irene will be bringing PLENTY of water with her.)
Usually when we have company, Mom makes the house look nice. Instead, Mom has moved all the small stuff from the porch to the basement, and moved the flower planters off the railings.
Mom went food hunting last night, because she said if she went today it would be crazy. It turned out to be crazy when she was there last night. She said the store did not have any Bananas! Can you imagine? No bananas. Mom bought strawberries instead. Fortunately, Mom also stocked up on stinky goodness for me!
Yes kitties, it is almost time for the US Open, and you know how much my Mom loves her tennis!
Mom will run out of words about Inspector Gamache in a few days. The US Open tennis tournament will start next week, and then it will be All Tennis, All The Time. I'm getting my stinky goodness, my treats, and my scritches, so don't worry about me.
What do I do? I sit in the windows and look outside, I whap things, and I hunt.
I'm not joking. Whenever Mom looks for me, she finds me in the plum wing chair, napping on one of the quilts Julie made for her.
Any guesses as to who is responsible for my total miss of World Cat Day yesterday?
She can't remember where she bought it, but you can find them here, and here.
I like it because it Mom can use it without holding me down. You all know how much I like to be held, right?
Mom has this funny thing she uses as a brush, and it pulls out some of my extra furs. It doesn't hurt, and my furs look really nice afterwards. Lookit this pile that came off this morning!
If my Rescue-Day was the Most Important Day of My Life, then August 5, 2006 is the second most important day.
It's the day I got my Mom and my Forever Home. I know all cats with Forever Homes are lucky, but I really lucked out. My Mom helped me start a blog, (today is also my Blog-o-versary), and through my blog I have friends all over the world!
Mom's been doing some chillaxing, I have to give her credit. She's been sitting in her comfy chair watching tv, catching up on the Next Design Star, Next Food Network Star, Masterpiece Mystery, White Collar and one of her new favorites, Suits. The continuing adventures of me, Millie, the kitty Malcolm rescued and cat bloggers all over the world helped save. I'm really grateful.
