Blast from the Past

You know how Mom's been cleaning out her junk and shredding old papers, right? Well she was giving the shredder a good workout this morning when she found the receipt from when she donated green papers to help Malcom with "No Name Yet's" new bionic hip!

I told her she should take a picture of it, to show everybody, but she said she couldn't.

She said the best thing about it is that now she knows the exact date she found me! It was Friday June 30th.  Mom remembers sitting down at the computer after dinner and reading Max, and then reading all about me!  When she was done reading the whole story, she clicked the DONATE button.

Of course, she didn't know I would be coming to live with her yet!

How cool is that?

We remember that day very well at our house too. Many many bloggers do too. You are so darling in the footage he posted a few days later, even though you were so small and frightened.
Bless your momma for adopting you and Gizzy for loving you. We remember that day well too!!!

WAY cool! And yeah, she needs to keep that receipt!

I wonder what Malcolm's up to these days...I kinda lost track after he stopped his Dropped In blog... He'll always be a standup guy in my book, cause he didn't just leave you were he found you. He had no idea what he was saving for EVERYONE... :)
