Hump Day

No, this isn't a Whisker Humps post. Mom says Wednesday is "Hump Day," meaning it is in the middle of the week, and once you get past it, you are "over the hump" and it's downhill from there.

Frankly, I think she's been working too hard and her brain is just a little bit fried.  She got home 40 minutes after her usual BEDTIME last night! That's FIVE HOURS past my dinner time!  I was like, starving!

Mom could tell, so before she even took her coat off she filled my bowl with some nice fresh stinky goodness.

(Now Millie, you have to tell everybody I left you a bowl of crunchies yesterday morning, because I knew I would be home late.  You had something to eat.)

Yeah, there were crunchies, but STILL.

Mom says the Week From Hell is turning out to be the Week From Good, and it might be the Week From Seriously Awesome before it's over, but she doesn't want to jinx it.  She has to go back to her day hunting gig before the sun comes up this morning, but she says she will be home on time tonight.

I'll be waiting.

your mom should get you a timer dish, so it can open up with fresh stinky goodness on time.

Well Millie, this is exactly what I was concerned about. A bowl of crunchies to somehow compensate you for hours on your own, understimulated, under-cuddled, under-scritched. I KNOW your mom's busy this week - so perhaps a cat sitter would have been the answer. What's Mr Karate doing after work?

My heart goes out to your mom for having to work so much - she sounds like such a good person to feed you your sticky stuff before she even takes her coat off. My hat is off to her!!!!!
