Silly Sunday

The weather here has been a bit colder than usual for this time of month, and the snow is still hanging around. I am sorry, Tia, but you are not the winner of the WhenWhen Contest.Mom's working on finishing a quilt, and you know what happens then, don't you? The house gets REALLY MESSY! There are dirty dishes in the kitchen, unfolded laundry on the couch in the living room, stuff all over the dining room table, and the floors and rugs need to be sucked.

Mom ignores it all, and just works in the sewing room.
She's finally learning what it's like to be a cat! (But don't tell her I said so!)

That patch of snow next door is resistant, isn't it?

We had visitors a week ago, and cleaned up for a week before they came, and within a couple of days things had become more messy. Mom says the scientific terms for it is entropy. I think quilt sewing is especially severe in that way.

Mom & Dad have a church group coming Tuesday night. So that means mom has to get up of her duff and break out the duster & vacuum. Oh dear...do we see cobwebs in the corners?

It sounds like your house is in the normal state of the house here! My human can't keep a neat, organized home to save her life.

I think your Mom is too busy to be a cat, Millie. If she'd only nap more...yeah, that's the ticket.

Our Mom has to sew in the kitchen so she can not ignore the house work!

Well, cats don't get dirty and messy in the first place, Millie - which is another way in which they are superior to beans.
