I'm telling you, it's a regular quilt merry-go-round here. Mom finished her quilt for the Doll Quilt Swap, and that is on its way OUT. Then this quilt, for her pal Julie, came IN. Mom says it won't stay long, and then it too, is gonna go OUT.

Go figure.

In the meantime, there are a few cats that need our purrs. Coco, Sniffie, Bear, Monty Q and others are still feeling poorly. You can read about them over at the Cat Blogosphere blog. Thanks.

Oh and, here at my house, it's gonna be All Tennis, All The Time for the next coupla weeks...

Hi everybody!

While Mom was out looking at metal masheens this morning, I have been visiting my sweetheart, Monty Q.

He has an abscess on his back and had to visit the V-e-t where he got an Aunti-Biotic shot. He also has a cold and MomBean says his boo-boo is more swollen today than it was yesterday. We're all hoping it gets better real soon or he has another visit to the v-e-t in his future.

Would you all be so kind as to send him some purrs?

Finally Friday!

Psst... Mom's hunting the ever-elusive Month End, and then, when she gets home, she will start her big stay-cation. Woo hoo! She's gonna watch a lot of Tennis, and she will do some sewing. I plan to get a lot of scritches.

Everything is just fine. Mom has been spending a LOT of time in the sewing room working on some silly zebra thing.... and I haven't been posing for pictures.

Mille & Mom Monday

You know how I keep telling you how glad I am to be a cat? Well, I felt like that all weekend, watching my Mom do her imitation of the Energizer Bunny.

Why?

Here's a little bit of what Mom did this weekend... She made some of those little skinny bags like I showed you the other day (and she bought some treats to put inside.) She made some crazy letters for a quilt she is calling "Daft Zebras." Don't know what that means? Join the club, I don't either.

She did ALL the dirty dishes, she did what she calls "The Washing Machine Shuffle," and she -finally- folded the ever growing pile of laundry that has been on the couch for the last three weeks. She actually started singing when she was finished cleaning the human litterbox room (You don't want to know.) She dragged the rug sucking monster ALL over the house, and she washed the floors. The big table in the table room isn't covered with stuff any more.

Not only that... she did errands. She got the battery replaced in her watch, bought a new cable so she could connect her iPod to the big radio; she bought me enough stinky goodness for about seven thousand five hundred sixty-eight sleeps, she put gas in the metal masheen, and she went food hunting. She even watched some tennis!

Now the house is clean. The floors are slippery, and I have a clear path to the kitchen window. It's a good thing she's going day hunting this week, it's been exhausting watching her.

I need several naps to recuperate.

4 Year Gotcha-Day!

It's my 4-Year Gotcha-Day! Four years ago I came to live here. I was a rescue kitty from Connecticat. I had been hit by a car. I got a bionic leg. I got a second chance, but I was scared.I know now that I would have found a good home, and a loving family, but gee willikers, who would have thought I have so many friends all over the world!

Who would've thought I'd get an extra fambly (and a Mancat friend, Monty Q) in Mary-land. (I even have a special Angel.) Oh! I have had so many amazing experiences. I am such a lucky girl-cat!

It's hard to believe I got so lucky with my Mom. She understands I am afraid of getting picked up, so she doesn't try. She doesn't try to make me wear a collar, or clip my claws. She gives my my favorite flavors of stinky goodness, and treats. I even get fresh, home-grown 'Nip. It's my Gotcha-Day, but it's a special day for my Mom, too.

So I got her some roses...

I am going to tattle on my Mom today. (Who else do I have?)

1. The house is messy and she needs to clean it up. She cleared off this stool just for me. From here I can see all the fabric bits that are scattered about the floor in her sewing room. I think the rug-sucking monster is needed.

2. She doesn't know everything. When Mom was out with Mr Karate on Sunday, she saw these at Russo's and she doesn't know what they are. She says Google and Wikipedia aren't being much help. DKM? Anybody?

Mom's been busy with her day hunting gig, cleaning the house, and gallavanting all about Beantown with Mr Karate. You can read about it on her quilting blog.

She brought me some nice fresh 'Nip, to roll around in though, to make up for it!
