Blue Night

There are lots of things I. Do. Not. Like. Among them are sirens and flashing lights. So last night, when four police cars and one fire truck parked outside our house with lights flashing I did not hesitate. I ran out of Mom's room in my best Thundering Herd of Elephants manner. So what if Mom was in the way.

Turns out some driver had hit the car that is always parked out front. (Now, Mom says that anybody who leaves their car parked on this busy street should know better. You leave a car parked on this street, and it's gonna get hit. Just a matter of time.)
The car that was hit got moved. Its front end was up on the sidewalk, and the back end was pushed over into the middle of the street, practically.

I think it's amazing how many beans can materialize out of nowhere, getting up at midnight to stand around in their pajamas, watching.

Oh dear, Millie - I hope you were a help to your Mom -I am sure that she doesn't like sirens and lights and....she would have been pleased to have you around, I'm sure.

Yikes! It's good no one was hurt, though. And we suppose that person will not park his or her car there again, ever. Once he or she gets a new car, of course.

That is very scary! We get to see those red and blue flashing lights in the afternoon when people are speeding through our school zone!

I hope you have a good hidey place when those blue lights and sirens come around. Some of my guys go thundering into my room and under my bed when bad noises happen. Some climb inside the recliner chair.

Wow!
Slow night on the town for 4 police cars to show up AND a fire truck.
Around here we'd get one cop car & a wrecker.

We are always amazed at how the Beins respond to flashy lights. Mebbe thats why they think the flashy lights from the camera shouldnt bother us...

Yuck! That's excitement we all can do without. We'd be under the bed in a flash, no matter what was in the way!

I hoped nobody got hurted, sorry for all the noise and mess. We lives on a dead end street so it is pretty quiet, no one parks on the street.

Well, Millie, I am relieved that they were not coming to put the pawcuffs on you!
