Spiffy Sunday

Mom cleaned up her own room yesterday, did the laundry and went food and fabric hunting. She had a nice long chat with MomBean, and she watched Project Runway and sewed on the quilt with the fox.

The rest of the house is what she calls a flying disaster.

This afternoon there's birthday cake for PlusOne, and tonight dinner at Mim-may's with some guy named Oscar.

I guess she won't be doing much cleaning today either.

Spiffy is definitely the word Millie - you're looking very glamorous, almost as if you were going to have dinner with the guy named Oscar as well.

But never mind - a quiet night at home by yourself will be a lovely opportunity to sit on all the clean laundry and start packing your bag for Mary-land.

Our mum says claening is over-rated as we always make it a mess again soon after.

Oscar and roses, sounds like your mom will be having a fabulous weekend.

We think cleaning is overated too.

Ditto on cleaning being overrated! The dust just settles seconds after you remove it, anyway. Heh.

Millie, you certainly do look spiffy on all that lovely fabric!

Add us to the cleaning is overrated group. Not only that, but it's skeery!

Oh I like the art deco fabric, so nice. So being a curious Mother just where did the roses come from? Just nosy I guess. Love and hugs, your mama Jeanne

Love your fabric Millie! Guess what? Oscar is coming to our house too. And when he comes, no one is allowed to talk, call, meow, or make any distraction. Someone at our house REALLY likes Oscar.
